Summer programs for high school students offer unique introduction to medicine and law

Rower ready to Rumball

Incoming medical student headed to Olympics

Thirty-year-old Jane Rumball was supposed to start medical school at the University of Toronto last year but instead followed her life-long dream of qualifying for the Olympics in Beijing. A world champion rower, Rumball has been rowing five hours a day, six days a week in London, Ont., since deferring her admission last year to compete on the world stage next month where she will compete in the women's eights.
